Getting luxury accommodation at affordable prices

If you are looking for a holiday with luxury accommodation but it is out of your price range there are other options available that may mean you can afford that fantastic villa with private pool or wooden lodge with outdoor hot tub. Many of these types of accommodation have more than one bedroom and can accommodate a few couples. If you have friends or family that you could go on holiday with then the cost can be split meaning the price per person comes down, sometimes quite dramatically.

This is a great way for everyone to be able to afford the luxury accommodation that may have been beyond your financial reach and you have the added bonus of having friends or family with you to make the holiday even more special.

Always check if there is an additional charge for more than 2 people occupying accommodation as it is rare, but some places will charge per person.

All inclusive holidays

Holidays are a great way to get away from it all and relax. There are different types of holidays you go on and all inclusive offers that added luxury that you do not get with self-catering. Many all inclusive hotels are either four or five star and the price you pay usually includes all your meals as well as some snacks and drinks (although you may be limited to house wines and spirits).

If you want to be able to relax and know that you will not have to spend a fortune on drinks and food whilst away then all inclusive is probably the option for you.

The other types of holidays you can chose are self-catering which is where you basically pay for the room and facilities but no food or drink is included or half board which includes breakfast and evening meal.

You can often find a number of all-inclusive hotels in the location you wish to visit but be sure to check the small print to find out exactly what is included.

Splashing out on an expensive hotel…is it worth it?

When it comes to booking hotels, there is things to consider when it comes to deciding how much you spend on one. If you are looking to go away on an all-inclusive holiday or even one that is half board then you will probably want to find somewhere at least four star as you will be spending a lot of time there and have the majority if not all of your meals within the hotel complex.

If, on the other hand, you are looking for a self-catering hotel and planning on not spending much time at the hotel then it may be worth saving a little money and booking a cheaper one giving you more spending money for excursions and nights out whilst away.

Same goes for booking a hotel for a night, just as somewhere to get your head down maybe after a party or wedding. The chances are you may only actually be in the hotel room for eight or so hours so is it really worth spending hundreds when you won’t have the time to enjoy it?

Luxury caravan holidays

For most people the words ‘luxury’ and ‘caravan’ wouldn’t be used in the same sentence however times are changing and a new form of camping is becoming immensely popular, Glamping.
Glamping literally means glamorous camping and usually refers to staying in yurts or log cabins, however caravan parks have now joined the club and offer a range of luxury caravans for hire.

These caravans are static and usual include a decked area outside for the caravan for BBQs in the summertime, some even have a hot tub outside them.
Inside the caravan tends to be larger than your standard caravan and they are designed like a small modern apartment. The luxury caravans have everything you could possibly need such as a fully contained kitchen and proper bathroom with plumbed in shower sink and flushable toilet (so no more trudging across a dark dank field in the middle of the night to a grotty old toilet block!).

Most of the caravans are based in picturesque areas of Cornwall, Wales and The Lakes, often close to the water’s edge to give stunning views and beautiful surroundings.

It almost goes without saying that you will pay a premium for luxury accommodation however you’ll never have camped like this before!

A Must Read for Keen Travellers – Dealing with Accidents Abroad

Travelling outside the country can be a bit tricky especially when you have to deal with accidents. It is always difficult for foreigners to manage accidents that happen while travelling abroad especially in the light of trauma involved. However, this can be sorted out easily if you have a reliable company offering accident management abroad.

In most cases, managing an accident in a foreign country involves a pile of documents and forms, which must be signed even when you are not liable for the accident. Additionally, the process of making a claim is also very hectic thus increasing your complications in the whole matter. Managing accident claims can be stressful for anyone. However, you can make things easier by working with a claims company to help handle the mess for you. These companies provide motorists with a host of benefits including the following:

  • Reliable accident handling companies can help you make a claim for the damaged vehicle either in the UK or in the country where the accident happened especially if the other driver is uninsured.
  • The companies can also help make a personal injury claim. This process is normally tedious and expensive and you should not handle it without proper legal advice and representation.

Work Related Group Bonding Holidays

Many companies are now looking in to or offering group bonding breaks for their employees. This is similar to group bonding exercises that many of us have been on where you have to solve problems together, but allows colleges to spend more time getting to know each other by socialising.

Some examples of these types of trips are groups of employees being sent to trek up Snowdonia mountain and then afterwards meet up in a hotel where they are all staying for dinner and drinks. This is proving to have quite a positive impact on staff morale and working together as a team, which in turns improves the whole productivity of a company.

Although this can be costly for a company, research has shown that this money is made back two fold over a short period of time due to the increased work level. Why not suggest one to your company and see what they think?
